one trick for centering large amounts of clay-stephen jepson

I am very seriously considering taking a workshop from Stephen Jepson.
With travel and other related costs, it will be kind of pricey, so what
I'd like to know is, is it worth it? I have about 2 years experience
throwing, and I'd like to learn how to get my throwing and related
pottery skills "to the next level." I'd appreciate hearing from anyone
who has taken his workshops.
