Since we are on the topic of tiles. I am working with kids to make
outside tiles for a nature trail. They will be set in concrete, have
impressions of leaves, names imprinted, etc. I was considering a low
fire terra cotta, using slip to cover the impressions and then clear
glaze. I am concerned about how they will survive Washington winters.
Any suggestions for firing, other ways of making them, etc.
