I am using a Soldner portable type wheel with a separate pedal
attachment. While trimming my pot got away from me and in panic
I came down on the pedal with too hard. Now in order to stop my
wheel I have to turn it off using the pedal switch.
I removed the pedal plate to find the speed adjustment screws but
was unable to find any. Can someone tell me what damage I may have
done or how to adjust the pedal. Or where the nearest Soldner repair
person is.
I don't have the diagram sheets as this is a borrowed wheel. If someone
has them and would'nt mind sending me a copy send e-mail to me please.

I can't help you but I know who can. Call Kent Follette at the Follette
Pottery down in Ruston, LA. He uses a portable Soldner and swears by it.
If he or Libby can't help, Kent's great aunt Muffie Marie LaFollette will
lend a hand. Their number is 318-251-1310. Send my love to Aunt Muffie!!

Does anyone on this list know of a source for Precious Metal Clay?

You could try Bluebird Manufacturing directly since they make the Soldner wheels
