Lisa - I do not have address or phone number for Penland at home, but
perhaps someone else will provide it. The other place you are thinking of
is Arrowmong School of Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN - call information for the
number. Why is it that when people discuss craft schools in the Mid-South
they so often overlook the institution where I teach, the Appalachian Center
for Crafts? Hopefully we will come out of our budget current crisis even
stronger than ever, and with the money to do some national advertising to
increase our profile. People joke about us being the best kept secret in
the fine craft world, and believe me, that's not the way we want it!!
