Judith Enright on wed 16 apr 97
I am so frustrated I could spit! Tried the revised ^6 Pinnell's
weathered green, AGAIN, this time using 4% lithium: the small test
cups on the bottom came out perfectly; the large-ish vase on top
blistered (although not as badly as previous tests). Too bad I can't
sell test cups for a living.
My manually-switched Skutt definitely fires hot, and of course hotter
on top, but I thought I'd compensated by dropping down a jr. cone
size. I also slowed down my firing schedule, which resulted in what
appeared to be a longer time with both switches on High then I've
experienced in the past.
Any suggestions, mateys?
TIA
