Cone 9-10 Reduction (see notes for oxidation)
Nepheline Syenite 40
Spodumene 30%
Soda Ash 8%
OM-4 Ball Clay 17%
EPK 5%

Total 100% 5 ingredients

Notes: OM-4 fires gray rather than white so another ball clay
MIGHT MIGHT (never tried it) change the glaze a little.
This shino fires to warm orangey coral brick where thin, & a
lovely gold where thicker. Carbon traps like a dream!
If you fire porcelain in redtn. don't leave home without it!

In oxidation, it gives warm auburn fine specks in warm
beige background - semi-glossy opaque. In OX, under
Karen's Touch (write me for recipe) it gives warm pastel
auburn semi glossy going to very rough deeper auburn where thick.
3 interesting effects depending on thickness of overdip.

This is in answer to Trevor, Lesley, Joan, etc. Enjoy!
