My friend Teresa who is moving to Portland, Oregon in September is
wondering what life is like in the Portland pottery scene. She has three
years of experience in ceramics, and would like to know what classes are
available at local colleges and community education programs. Also, do you
have information on co-op studios and good galleries to visit? You can
write her at this email address: roughen@uky.campus.mci.net
Thanks, Margo

>Hi Margo.... I can't help you much with Portland; it's 2 hours away, but
when she gets tired of frying in the Wilamette Valley, she can come see me
on the cool wet coast, Emily in Astoria where the sun is burning bright, the
temps in the 70ties the zyphers sweet and it ain't gonna rain no mo no mo
:-) I'm wallpapering over the damage from the water coming down the chimney
(2 rooms) during last February's downpour
