Greetings fellow CLAYARTers,
I thought I might share an opportunity in this forum before it went into general
circulation:
A position in retail store sales has become available at Laguna Clay
Co.'s Denver, Colorado facility. It might be the perfect daytime
activity for young and apprentice craftspeople who want to support
"that habit" (making pots).
If you know any interested parties, please have them phone Bill at
Laguna Clay, Denver: (303) 722-5398.

Mud Pie Ceramics Centers - located in Wayne, NJ - offers pottery
instruction to adults and children. We are currently looking for a full
time employee with a strong pottery background to get involved with a bit
of everything:
* instruction on the wheel and handbuilding
* glaze preparation
* kiln firing (primarily electric - with Raku firings four or five times
per year)
We operate our studio in a "retail" location, so a good part of the job
involves interacting with "potential customers" (who love to just
"walk-in"). Needless to say, the candidate MUST be a people-person.
Sound like you (or someone you know)? Drop me an e-mail and I'll fill you
in on more details.
