Does anybody know where I can purchase posters of beautiful pots and pottery
related activities (such as woodfiring, etc.) I would like to decorate the
retail area of my pottery studio with this kind of poster if possible. If
anyone has any other suggestions for studio and retail area decoration,
please feel free to send them along. They will be much appreciated. In
advance, many thanks. -=Rick=-

I recall when I was living in England getting a poster made of a
photograph. I just took along the negative and the firm made a poster
sized print of it. I imagine that you can find the same thing here, and
then you could also have some posters of your own pots around your studio!

Check-out the JAL(Japan Air Lines)calendar for 1997. The photo of "torn
pouch" Iga waterjar alone is worth the effort of finding the calendar.I got
mine from a friend at the airport but maybe a travel agent would have one
to spare. This is a must-have for lovers of Japanese art. Can't wait for
the 1998 edition.

Hey Rick- It looks like you are moving along. It must be very exciting!
How about going to a local painting group and have them put their
paintings on your walls and maybe they can sell some. Then when they have a
show they can include some of your pots.Perhaps the local high school
teacher for refernces or the evening painting classes?
Good luck and keep me posted where your studio is and when I come
and visit my mom in LaCrosse I'll come and visit .
