Hi All,

I just took a job in Boston, so my wife and I (both amateur potters) will be
moving there at the end of the summer. So... what's the pottery situation like
in the Boston area. We don't know for sure where we will be living, probably
the western suberbs. Are there many active potters in the area? Are there any
coops where we can pot? Is there a gallery scene?

We are debating setting up our own studio, but we like the community studio
idea for creative inspirationand just to make some new friends. Anyway, we're
just curious in general.

Please respond via personal email, because this probably isn't of interest to
most clayarters.

thanks,
Danny

I just moved from Boston and use to do alot of pottery with Ocmulgee
Pottery in Ipswich. I know both the owners personally and know that they
have set up a North Shore Potters Group that has both professional and
amature potters. Give them a call. There number is 508-356-0636 and their
names are Barbara and Nancy. Tell them I said hi.
