Hi Jennifer;
I also have a venco pugmill, and found I totally wrecked the gasket the
first time I cleaned it. I don;t know what the name of the stuff was that I
used to make a gasket, but the hardware store recommended it. It was red
sticky stuff and you just squeezed it along where the gasket should be. We
must not have had it thick enough because I must have small air holes on
mine. I find I'm getting hard dried clay along the seam when I pug clay and
it really makes me mad. If you don't get it all off, it ruins your piece
when you throw it. It shows up as a hard lump on the side of the pot,
similar to an air bubble. Really maddening. Venco!!! are you reading our
mail. We need gaskets!!!! I like to use a variety of clays, and find its
such a pain to clean the pugmill that I've settled for a mixture.

The golden years have come at last, I cannot see, I cannot pee,
I cannot chew, I cannot screw. My memory shrinks, my hearing stinks.
No sense of smell, I look like hell. My body drooping, got trouble pooping.
The golden years have come at last, The golden years can kiss my Ass.
