I would like to purchase a Raku kiln and was thinking of the kind which has
a lift system whichallows a single person to do the firing. A friend told me
that she has a raku kiln with a door through which one can remove the fired
pieces. I would appreciate any comments you may have about these two types
of kilns and the particular brand you may recommend.
I am also looking for raku gloves that can be used to remove the pieces
from the kiln without using tongues.
