Peta,
I am presently working with clay and glass but have never attempted to fuse
glass to raw clay. I presumed that the escaping water in the clay would
form a large bubble (maybe several) in the glass and I have had a few nasty
experiences with bubbles in my early slumping days. What are your
intentions, are you aiming to fuse broken, crushed glass or sheet glass?
From experience the commercial clay body will not provide a craze-free
fusion with glass. If I can help in any way please do not hesitate to ask.
