I looked at a small spinning tiger wheel that was quite old and chose not to
buy on the advice of Vince and some others. So I'm not too excited about
them.

You have your facts wrong, unless it was another Vince. Any advice I give
regarding the Spinning Tiger wheel is to NEVER, NEVER buy one unless it is
to be used only as a motorized banding wheel. They are a piece of crap, and
will not stand up to even light studio use.
