xJust returned to CA after a wonderful weekend in Edmonton, Canada.
Thoroughly enjoyed the people and events there. Don Reitz workshop was the
definite highlight - I learned more about myself and the energies of claywork
than at a hundred NCECA's [Not that I wouldn't LOVE to go to 100 NCECA's].
Thanks to all who participated - Jon Lovejoy

NCECA is huge - sometimes almost overwhelming. I went to NCECA in San Diego
and was unable to get into a couple of workshops simply because of the crush
of people. This was much more intimate, and therefore you get better insight
into the presenting artist and his/her working styles. Artists giving demos
& slide lectures included Les Manning (cool altered thrown forms), Don Reitz,
Nina Hole, a few other Canada artists and a good introductory workshop on
Clayart and the Internet. All in all, a great way to spend the weekend.
