While on the topic purging the pugmill, I am wondering if anbody can
confirm or explain something that I have noticed. Perhaps I have
noticed something that does not exist?

After running high talc bodies through our aluminum barreled
Bluebird=AE pugmill and letting the clay sit in there a few days, I
have notice hard, discolored chunks on the outer edges of the pugs. It
looks like there is some oxidation of the aluminum and that either
water is being taken up in the reaction or that there is some
flocculation going on.

If I was conversant in Ionic I might find the answer myself, but maybe
someone has a good plausible explaination?

BTW I love my Talisman Seive and will probably by a Giffin Grip.
