Here is a glaze I originally posted last December C6 ox IE Black.
I found out that although it was made up of safe materials it was
unbalanced. It has been reformulated and I am renaming it
Dark Chocolate. The original IE Black is a beautiful dark brown,
almost black, glossy. I have not mixed up the reformulated
version but will be doing so in the next week or so. For those of
you who would like to try it, here's the recipe. For those of you
who want to wait, I'll post my findings here after I've tried it.

Dark Chocolate C6 ox foodsafe
16.0 Whiting
8.0 Talc
32.0 Neph Sye
8.0 EPK
36.0 Silica
13.0 Red Iron
Total 113.0

I'm mixing up a few white glazes, too. But first I have to make
more test tiles.

All of the above have been reformulated by glaze professional Ron
Roy and Insight software. This is good stuff!

I have gotten so many responses from the article that appeared in
CLAYTIMES that I cannot answer everyone individually. I will
post my findings along the way to interested parties who have
contacted me individually as well as on CLAYART since several
people have requested that, too.
