I am new with this. Can anyone explain to me under what circumstances does
one need to remove the wheel head (i think that's what is is called)? I see
alot of comments on how important it is to be able to remove the wheel. Why
and when?

Thank you.

Jan: In my opinion you shouln't have to take your wheel head off, unless
you are repairing it. If you are referring to the Master Series Shimpo,
then you should never have to remove your wheel head to get your splash
pan on. The Shimpo company really has a bad design out. I sent my two
wheels back and bought Brents. Okay I will get off the soap box now, just
thought I'd share my opinion. Jennifer in Alpine, TX
