I was given the gift of an A-66 Paragon that must be at least 35 years
old. I have an electrician friend who was changing the plug out for a
modern plug. When he cut the old plug off, we realized that the
insulation of the cord was dry rotted.
I talked with Paragon and they told me that cable configuration should
be 6-20. My electrician is unsure about what kind of heat resistant
cable we need. Can I purchase cable from a good hardware store, or do I
need to go through a Paragon dealer? Should I have someone who is more
familiar with kilns look at it?
Thanks,
Marilou
