To solve the dust problem of sanding bottoms I use a wet or dry
sandpaper available from most hardware store and auto paint suppliers.
I attach the sand paper to a plastic bat with contact cement and place it
on the wheel. The paper on the wheel is then wet with water and kept
wet while sanding the pot. There is no dust and the paper lasts longer.
Try it, it is not an expensive experiment.
