I am pleased to announce that we have a tenure earning position in
Sculpture coming up during the summer or fall of 1997. This is a
graduate/ undergraduate teaching assignment. The individual should
have teaching experience and the ability to help with the production
and administration of the Alabama Biennial, an outdoor sculpture
exhibition. We have a medium , comprehensive program offering BA and
BFA in studio BA and MA in Art History and the MA and MFA in studio.
We have good facilities for sculpture , particularly in Metal casting.
All are welcome and encouraged to apply. It is about 60 degrees as
the sun sets on my office here at the University of Alabama in
Tuscaloosa.
We will mail out prospectus. Application deadline is Feb 21, 1997.
