Why indeed, should we help each other at all ?
Perhaps it is because some glazes are common that we ask of each other
for a common cone 6 oxidation glaze. We ask of each other for
the uncommon. We ask " what worked for you ?"
Perhaps we don't all have the same level of experience,
and so we ask.
We are not all professional potters, and do not
have the luxury of pottery courses. We learn from each other.
If you don't want to help someone, don't.
But they are never wrong for asking,,,,,never.

I agree we should be able to ask. But what is everybody just asked and no
one looked up the information? Let's face it there are many who try the
fast track to success only to fall flat because the base is not there.
Another point. Get on to a medical net and ask a doctor how to carry out
open heart surgery. Let me know the response.

Terrance,
I can't take it any more. You seem to educated, and have many opinions.
Please proofread your posts before you send them; it will give your
arguments more credibility.
While I was working in the video department at a local University Hospital
campus, I have spoken to several doctors, editing their surgery videos on
how to perform open heart surgery. They were all very helpful and took the
time to answer my questions, and were quite pleased that I showed such a
sincere interest in what they did.
Chill out.
