I am planning to set up a studio for ceramics and other media in NYC. Does
anyone know of any how-to articles on setting up a studio, guidelines, etc?
Perhaps a Studio Potter article? Also, is anyone else out there looking for
studio space in NYC?

There are many good floor lay out in Studio Potter and studio disscustion
but it been to long for me to remmeber which volume the articles are in. If
you are looking for a good book on how to build your own equipment the Harry
Davis's book "The Potter's Alternative" is a must. I hope you are ready
for long up hill climb. I am shure that the building codes and permits you
have to get for NYC can crush you byu there sheer weight
Good luck. Kenneth

Hello!
Hey there is a pretty decent article about setting up your studio in the
last chapter of the book, "The complete Potters Companion", by Tony
Birks. Usually Ceramics Monthly magazine has articles on this topic as
well. Happy Hunting, ds.
