There is presently an exhibit of Toshiko Takaezu's work at the Charles Cowles
Gallery (420 W. Broadway; Tel 212/925-3500) which will be on until July 18.
Toshiko will also have an exhibit at the American Craft Museum (across from
MOMA) which will open on June 26th. I have seen some of the pictures of her
"closed forms" and they look beautiful. I love her work and am going to
New York for the opening. For me it is a "must see" exhibit and hope that you
will enjoy it. Billy in Lexington KY enjoying the first day of sunshine in
weeks.

I was at one of her traveling workshops at Brookdale Community College,
(Lincroft, NJ) a couple of years ago and have to agree. Her works are
handsome. She teaches a Princeton now I think?
