Hi Dan;
I found a really nice marker pen that works really well, especially on my
Raku pieces which have so much grog in them signing is very difficult to
read after firing. I have alot of people who insist pieces be signed, and
have had alot of response from customers happy I now include Canada on my
pieces.
If I could find my darn marker I could give you the name, but I got it at
our flower/pet shop. They come in gold and silver and have a little ball
inside that you must shake well before they flow. I always test on paper to
make sure it flows well before signing my pots. They are expensive, but
work well and it works like a pen. It is permanent on almost any surface. A
friend and I had the store order them in for us.
Try your local florist or gift shops and if they don't know about them
I'll try to get the name for you. Sorry, I'm so disorganized right now, but
must admit I have a bit of panic in the pit of the old stomach at the
moment, and sure hope I haven't lost mine.
Talked to you several years ago when making a decision about a pugmill.
Nice to see you here on clayart.
