signing stuff!

A short time ago there was a thread on Clayart about signing one's work,
whether to or not. Well, my question goes to those who do sign their
work, as I do. Until recently, I've scribed my name into the pot but
have decided that it might be better to use some kind of stain and paint
my signature. Makes for a smoother bottom. My problem is in finding a
mixture that won't smudge. Anyone out there with a solution you're
willing to share?

Hi Dan,
If you fire oxid., you could ask Lady T. Sig. for a dance at the tip of your
brush. Buff on white or vice versa.
If you don't have any, some RIO mixed with water will do.
