Hola Clayart!
I recently was advised that in commercial operations, they often add silica
to a slip to make it cast faster. I'm going to try it, but have heard a
little goes a long way.
Anybody had any success or failures with this technique? How much silica
was a good amount. I'm casting ^04 hobby body -- 1/2 clay 1/2 texas talc (w
the whiting already in it).
