Valice,
Here are two glazes you may want to try. I've used them both and
have gotten silvery results, although I've never really pushed to see if
how silver they could go. If my memory is correct the Gold Raku is taken
from Steve Branfman's book (reference is at home!) and the Reynolds Rap
came from the Clayart data base on the SDSU Ceramics Web page. If you try
them I'd love to hear how they work for you. Good luck!

A silver-gold glaze that is very reliable. Mix up only
the amount you need and use it immediately. Sliver
nitrate is a soluble salt that is sensitve to light and
will lose strength when mixed in water and expsed to

Yea, I used to use this:
Pemco frit 25 - 42.5
Ferro frit #3134 27.4
Lithium carb. 9.8
EPK 6.3
Silica 14.0
Bentonite 2.0
Soda Ash 1.0
and
CMC
Add:
Silver nitrate 2.1
It's a great base.
