slab roller grit server down

My local server has been down for almost a week, and I've missed any
responses to my slab roller grit question. In fact, I've submitted this
message before, but I doubt it got through. A friend who also
subscribes
to Clayart told me there was a reply from someone who said the grit was
about 35 to 40. Unfortunately she deleted all her messages, so I can't
respond personally. Whoever you are, would you mind re-sending your
message, please?

Going on that lead, I took the leap and coated my rollers with a two
part epoxy made by Sherwin Williams called Tile-Clad II, into which I
mixed Bondex Sand Finish Additive. I used one quart part A, one quart
part B, and three cups of sand additive(which is actually a volcanic
material which stays suspended. I applied this mixture onto my steel
rollers (after cleaning with laquer thinner) with a half inch pile paint
roller.
It was a breeze. I left the rollers on the machine to apply so they
could spin freely against the paint roller. It set up hard overnight.
Looks like it'll work great, but can't test it for 8 days (per
instructions on epoxy can) So this coming Sunday I'll send the results.
