I purchased my used Sno kiln a few years ago. I do not have any
literature
about this kiln. I think they are also out of business .I was told it
"probably" could be fired up to cone 10.
I have been firing to 6 but would like to try a few cone 10 glazes. Does
anyone know if this kiln can handle it? And if it can't, what would
happen?
Would it just shut off or overfire and do terrible things inside?

I Hi. I also bought a Sno kiln (didn't think there were anymore around)
second hand about 10 years ago. I did get a booklet with it. None of their
kilns are designed to go to cone 10! I wouldn't reccommend trying it. You
are correct that the company is out of business. My kiln is still working
but as I am doing more and more pottery, firing more and more often, I am
getting concerned about how reliable it is. If you want more years out of
your kiln, don't try cone 10. JoAnn Axford Glenmont, New York
