Would anyone know the whereabouts of the main source of Helmer Kaolin. I
know you can get it through Archie Bray, but where is their source?

Thanks in advance
Leon

Hello Leon:

Michael Wendt in Lewiston, Idaho was processing Helmer and maybe he still
is. It's an A P Green product, mined in Idaho and Michael was doing all the
processing some years back. I can't seem to locate Michael's phone # at the
moment, but you can call info for Lewiston and ask for the # of Wendt Pottery.

I believe that Michael Wendt Pottery in Lewiston Idaho is the source for
Helmer. He arranged an independent company in Helmer Idaho to dig it,
and has it brought by dumptruck load to his studio where it is dried,
airfloated, and bagged. 208 746 3724
