speckle blue glaze update

The Shelfords on sun 17 aug 97

Hi all -
On the 8th of August I posted a recipe of my own, called V's Tenmoku Gold,
which I recommended trying with cobalt instead of iron to get a
silvery-flecked blue. In that post I said it should be about 2% cobalt.
Thanks to some private e-mails on the subject, I was jogged into ACTUALLY
LOOKING IT UP. It was part of a whole series of tests, and if I am reading
someone else's notes properly, the successful test used 1.5% cobalt carb.
For what it's worth.
- Veronica
