Thanks for putting me straight. For some reason, I associate
DeStaebler's name with tall cast aluminum and steel sculpures that are
also very clay-like. I must have him confused with another scuptor I've
seen in several books on 20th century sculpture.
Your ramblings are very much to the point. I knew Mary Frank from her
clay work and I thought that was what she was known for---but when I
saw her written about they didn't mention her clay at all.
