Sherry, a few years ago, at the Ca State Fair, there was a building or two
built of straw bales, then covered with stucco. It looked great & sounded
like a good idea; insulation-wise, fire-resistant, ease & costs of
construction. I wanted more information, and was referred to a catalogue
co. called "Chelsea Green Publishing Co. - Books for Sustainable Living".
They carry a book called "The Straw Bale House" by Athena Swentzell Steen,
Bill Steen, David Bainbridge and David Eisenberg; paper, $30.00
ISBN 0930031717

I haven't ordered the book yet, but plan to someday.

I have no financial interest in any of these companies.
