Hi John,
Awhile back there was a discussion of merchant accounts and when my local
bank decided to add a significant monthly fee I switched my account to
the Discover. Through them for a $50 one time fee Nexus does my VISA/MC.
The machine can be rented or purchased. My per-transaction fee went from
about 3.5% down to 1.9% and I am very pleased. The salesman was very
knowledgeable and helpful. All in all so far it seems a great deal.
I cannot imagine trying to do fairs without taking plastic.
