This may be a long shot, but does anyone out in Clayartland know of
rentable studio space in San Jose? Looking for about 500 sq. with
electrical to support a couple of kilns. Prefer the Willow Glen area
or Campbell.

TIA --!

Hi Judith,
We are renting 800 sq. ft. in Mt. View. I don't know of anything
in Willow Glen or Campbell. We are in an old school building which one
of our members found while on a bike ride. We had been looking at
industrial listings in the newspaper. One suggestion is to check with
art directors in community centers. Sunnyvale Community Center has a
program that rents space to artists (rooms in old school buildings).
You are welcome to come visit us. We participated in the Open Studio
Tour which included the areas you are interested in. We have a book
with those artist's studios listed. Possibly some of those people
could help you. I will be at our studio most mornings and if you call
I could give you names and numbers. Ask for Clair, 1-415-694-4943. We
are located in building B-1, 999 Independence Ave, Mt. View (Rengstorff
exit off 101, south on Rengstorff, turn right at Leghorn, 2nd light,
and look for old school building on left).
