I agree with Pete Pinell's comments about going to the Nelson. During the
two years I lived in Kansas City, I often visited my "favorite pots...."
at the Nelson. I loved the room with the Chinese Bronzes. The English
Slipware collection is substantial. Lunch really is great.
There are also some nice examples of old tile work on the outside of some
buildings in Kansas City. If you are interested in antiques, there is a
lot of good art pottery as well as great old wooden furniture around town.
If you want a break from the galleries, visit the Rose Garden in
Loose (spelling?) Park. Meg
