Another clay friend is looking for a substituent for a soda blue glaze at
cone 03 on red earthen ware over a white slip. His present glaze has
bad crazing problems and he has exhausted all avenues to correct it.
Including using a soda spar in the clay body. It a real nice turquoise
blue that has that juicy look of a lead glaze. Does any one have glaze
not based with soda. He is now try to bend some stain to get the same
color but that can take a long time.
Thank you for you help Kenneth
