Here are some addresses of ceramic schools in Faenza and some courses - but I do
not know whether they include a travel program or not.
- Istituto Statale d'Arte per la Ceramica, Corso Baccarini 17, Faenza (RA).
Offers courses of one year - may be less, I don't know. Public school
-Centro Formazione Professionale, via San Giovanni Battista 11, I-48018 Faenza
(RA), Tel. 0546-26760. Another public school in Faenza open to potters from
abroad.
-Corsi Internationali di Ceramica, Emidio Galassi, via Borgo S. Rocco 12,
I-48018 Faenza. Emidio Galassi, who is a very well known ceramicist in Italy,
offers summer courses every year.
-Centro Europeo della Terracotta, Studio Giambo, via Anguillara 14, 50122
Firenze. Courses in ceramics, painting, restauration etc. raku courses
-Scuola di Restauro "La Cantoria", 50022 Greti-Chianti (Firenze). courses for
ceramic restauration 2-6 months.
You can find that kind of information in my guide for travelling potters. We are
working on a version in english language and following the clayart list for some
months I feel there is a real need for that. General travelling information (not
just a list of potteries) is requested again and again. Everybody willing to
share is invited to participate!
The german version of the guide can be found (not yet completed, sorry) at
