Good for Jennifer in Vermont. Ontario is having the same snowy conditions
with elevator temps! I guess that goes with living in the northern
hemishpere!
There are 2 major suppliers of clay in the area between Toronto and London
Ont. The first from London headed east is in Kitchener which is an arm of
the Oakville Pottery Supply House and has supplies on hand for those of us
in the Kitchener - Waterloo area. It is about 1to1-1/2 hours drive east of
London. The supplier in Kitchener is called S and S Pottery Supplies at 5B
Paulander Drive, Kit. Telephone 519-743-4252. You can reach the parent
company at 1-800-465-8533. Of course, they deliver.
In Richmond Hill which is a town north of the City of Toronto is Tucker's
Clay at 15 West Pearce St. L 4B 1H6. Their phone # is (905) 889-7705. I
don't think they have an 800 number any more, but you could ask. And they
too deliver all over.
There is a very active co-operative "Waterloo Potters' Workshop " here in
Waterloo with over 100 members so we are blessed to have a supplier close
at hand.
