To all the Clayart readers out there:

On April 8 there was an announcement on Clayart of a conference at the
University of Wales about technology and the oral history of craft, which
will take place this July 13 and 14 in Wales. I'd like to know if anyone
who plans on attending this conference would kindly write up a short
account of it to be published in the fall '96 issue of The Studio Potter
Network Newsletter. I'd need the story by Aug. 15; a picture (of
conferees, presentation, potter, or whatever) would be nice too.

It struck me as an interesting topic, which could be of interest to
Newsletter readers--certainly something I'd like to learn more about. If
you're going to the conference, please let me know (reply to me, not
Clayart) if you'd be willing to report on your trip. "Short" means
exactly that--500-600 words more or less--with any CLEAR! photos you
might have as well. Many thanks,
