Hello Clayarters-
We've had a minor tragedy with our electricity (fire in the fuse box, due
to outdated system), and we can't run our kiln until our landlords upgrade
the fuse box. We don't know how long this will take - but it seems like it
could be awhile. AARGH! We're trying to brainstorm solutions, since it
is the worst time for this to happen. We are looking for a (shared?)
studio space to rent for justa few weeks (fingers crossed). We're also
checking into just "renting" kiln space - but we're worried about trying to
transport greenware to a kiln. I fantasized that someone in Berkeley or
Oakland with a studio is going on a lovely vacation and could use a
sublet/some extra $... Anyway - any ideas or leads would be greatly
appreciated. We live in Oakland, CA - across the Bay from San Francisco.
