The Art League school still has a few openings in the Associates' Program
in their new studios in Alexandria, Virginia.

Share bright studios with 20 other potters/ceramicists in a cooperative
setting. Associates are responsible for firing their own work, mixing one
studio glaze, offering one mini-workshop once every 6 months and
monitoring open studio times. No instruction included; Associates are
expected to have knowledge and experience to work independently and
share with other Associates.

Cost is $300/3 month period plus materials: clay @$8/25# bag includes
bisque firing, per pound for gas kiln additional. Equipment and facilities are
new. Four electric and a new gas kiln, extruder, slab roller, @15 wheels,
pug mill, and lots of tools and supplies.

Studios are accessible 24 hours a day except during special workshops
and occasional classes. The program is still evolving and suggestions are
welcome.

I am currently an Associate and am pleased with program. For more
information, E-mail me directly or call the Art League School at
703-683-5358.
