Well folks, I took the *plunge*. Put a mug (2nd - overfired slightly so
glaze ran a bit) into the freezer yesterday and just now poured very
bubbly boiling water into it _quickly_. Weird. Cold handle, hot
water in mug. No cracks!

Body is (old - very old) Plainsman H550 with my usual overlapping
glaze combo (which can be viewed on my homepage and have been
donated to glazebase).

Next - Tucker/Rodaco smoothstone...put in freezer this morning -
tomorrow morning, watch out!

......and the result is.....

fine, just fine. Did my old glaze overlap and new glaze overlap -
2 glazes taken off clayart: oatmeal and floating blue. Both mugs
are currently in the dishwasher.

For those interested, I fire ^10 in oxidation, 10 cone at 4-5 o'clock...
1/2 hour soak at the end.

So, who else has tried this???
