A different solution to the problem of raising the wheel would be to
thread the 3 legs of the potters wheel then add 3 collars then add 3
nipples which are properly sized for your height and finally add 3 more
collars to protect the threads of the nipples and your floor. This is
what I have done and it works very well and is easy to clean around. It
is worth the money to pay a plumbing shop to thread the legs----I did it
myself and it was uncomfortable, to say the least.
