I'm about to build a treadle wheel based on the design from the book,
The Self-Reliant Potter. Do any of you have any advice before I set off
to the machine shop to have the metal work done?
For example, what's a good height to have the wheel head at when you're
in a standing position? (Okay, I'm six feet tall and most of the stuff
I'm making will range in size from mugs to one-gallon jugs.)
I'll take any advice you may have. (I know that's a loaded request, but
I'd rather find out now than after I pay the machinist's bill.)
Thanks in advance for your help,
Jack McCoy
