trimming pads....

To add to this discussion, I'd like to mention that in my humble
opinion, there have been three mega inventions since the potters wheel in
my history of ceramics.
The first is the Giffin Grip. The second is the computerized controller for
electric kilns, and the third, is that funky rubber trimming "grabber" pad,
available fromone of the suppliers whom I am sure we know. No endorsement
or financial gain here intended.

The pad runs about $40 bucks or so, and is well worth every cent it costs.
Comes mounted on a bat, lasts a lifetime if you treat it well, and has
become indespensible in my studio.
