I need your help. I have a Crusader electric kiln which I purchased 15 or more
years ago and have used in minimally at that time so, it is still brand new.
I am planning to fire this week and wonder if there is anything that I need to
do before the firing. I seem to remember that before the first firing the inst
ructions indicated to fire the kiln empty to"dry it out". Is it allright to do
a bisque firing without preparing the kiln? Your answers are greatly appreciate
