vanadium stain

I have been following the Vanadium toxicity thread. I was just wondering
if these same concerns apply to the Mason stain called Vanadium. In the
Mason ad it says they can be used for clay and glaze colorants. If it had
been called Mustard yellow or something who would know what's in it.

Just curious

If you ask for a material safety data sheet (MSDS) who ever sells the stain
has to provide one. Any hazardous materials must be included. There is a
good possiblility that an improperly formulated glaze may release Vanadium
- I wonder if the encapsulated stains will release under certain
conditions?
