There is a trick I ran across a few years ago of spraying copper carb over a
cone 6 white glaze and fired in an electric kiln using slivers of parifin
pushed through the peep holes at cone 4 creating some dangerous smoke and
vapors for about an hour.
It worked! The coils did not show much deterioration after about 25
fireings. Good luck.
